VSLogonScreenCustomizer
VSLogonScreenCustomizer (say that three times quickly) is a simple app that allows you to customize your Windows log in screen.
If you're sick of looking at the same blue background when logging in and out of your computer, VSLogonScreenCustomizer will allow you to customize that screen's picture to your heart's content. Unfortunately this app's features are pretty basic.
Users can change the background photo and that's about it. VSLogonScreenCustomizer supports TIFF, JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP and WMPhoto and shouldn't have any trouble using photos you've downloaded from the web.
In the settings, there are a few tweaks that you can apply to the interface of VSLogonScreenCustomizer itself, but not the log in screen. This is very strange as this should be a feature that's built in to give users more customization of the look. You can't even change your user icon. You'll have to do it the old fashion way in the Control Panel.
Overall, VSLogonScreenCustomizer is a very basic app that's really only good for changing the background for your Windows log on screen.
